Robert Koedam is the owner and principal of Cardinal Safety Consulting, LLC. 

Robert is a former Federal OSHA Enforcement Officer,  Federal OSHA Assistant Area Director, and the Chief of NIOSH/CDC Fatality Investigations in the Division of Safety Research. He brings 20 years of federal experience from both the Federal OSHA Enforcement program as well as Federal Investigative Safety fields.

Overall, Robert currently has over 28 years of experience  in Occupational Safety and Health as well as a Masters' degree in Occupational Health and Safety and a Bachelors degree in Chemistry.

Robert offers the full array of Occupational Health and Safety employee and management in-person safety training services, as well as first responder training and first aid/CPR/AED adult/child/infant (American Red Cross Instructor). Mr. Koedam is an OSHA certified instructor 10 and 30  hour construction and General Industry. Robert also provides safety and Health program development, job safety/hazard analysis and interventions, performing accident investigations & job site inspections and abatement support, providing assistance during and after OSHA inspections and investigations, and OSHA representation and expert witness consultation.

Site-specific written program costs range from $500-$1500

OSHA representation is $250/hour

Expert witness / court appearance is $250/hour.

In-person OSHA 10 is $325 per student, 10 student minimum.

On-site incident and near-miss investigations and report writing, including abatement assistance is $200 per hour
